Dena Romios
Dena Romios is a Southern California native whose love and passion for Greece was instilled in her from birth. Her parents, Bill and Popi Roumbos were Greek immigrants from Simeiades and Kapsia, both villages outside of Tripolis, Arkadia.
From a young age, Dena was immersed in Greek school, Greek dance groups and church. This naturally developed a love and appreciation of her culture.
Dena has served the Greek community by coaching church basketball, teaching Greek dance and volunteering her time for organizations like The Los Angeles Greek Film Festival, Pan-Arcadians, Philoptochos, her church festival and other projects.
Dena’s love for Greek music is a big part of her life. As a result, in 2012, Dena created Power Muse Productions. PMP is a Greek entertainment company which produces Greek concerts on the West Coast. Dena has worked with Greece’s finest artists in the most impressive venues.
Dena is excited to be a part of GreekAFRadio as a creator. Her podcast “Muse-Cast with Dena” will spotlight Greek entertainment, culture, events and all things Greek in the diaspora.
Dena currently lives in the suburbs of Los Angeles with her family. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, hiking, volunteering and attending live events. What she loves most is to spend quality time with her friends and family.
